Other Programs & Activities
     
  Other classes and activities to be added to our program (depending on interest and enrollment) are:  
    Introduction to Islam:  
      This course is designed for those seeking to understand and learn the basic elements of faith and practice in Islam. A brief history of the early
days of Islam and Muslims will be covered.		  
    Martial Arts:  
      Separate classes for girls and boys depending on interest and ages of those enrolled.  
    Sports:  
     

Indoor Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball and other sports/activities are available for all ages. Available as separate sessions for male and females.

  
    Islamic Art:  
      Learn and explore calligraphy, needlepoint, etc.  
 
 
    Film Festival:  
      Movie(s) will be shown each month, followed by a discussion and Q&A session. Potential topics to be covered are Islam in America, women in
Islam, The Quran and science, etc.		  
    Weekly /Monthly Events:  
      The Academy offers different Islamic and community events on a weekly and monthly basis in coordination with local area organizations.
